GOLD FILTER – C240 / C280 – Q&A

Extracted coffee tastes weak.
Vertical-shape mesh allows hot water to flow smoothly. In the case ground coffee size is too coarse or excessive volume of hot water is used, please read “How to brew a cup of coffee by using Cores Gold Filter” in the section of“Cores Gold Filter C240・C280”.
Why are there coffee grounds in the cup?
In comparison to other filters (e.g. paper filter), vertical-shape mesh is big enough for coffee grounds to be extracted through it.
I can see oil floating.
While paper filters absorb coffee oil, the gold filter allows coffee oil to be extracted as well. This is why there is coffee oil floating on the surface of coffee in a cup. It is important for enjoying unique characteristics and flavor of coffee to directly extract coffee oil.
